Leprechaun Chase - March 2011

We just had to try this 10K that ran through Mahoney State Park. It started at 4:00PM, by the time we started running it was 40, sunny, windy.. but really just perfect running conditions. The girls got a 5 minute lead to all the men. If the first man caught the first girl, they get beer free, but some amazing girl beat all them men with her lead! Bob and I had personal bests ourselves.. This was my first 10k at under an 8 minute pace.. Ran 7:49's.. it felt so good! Bob ran at 8:06 pace.. amazing as he had never run that fast either! So proud and we are having a blast running together! Plus Bob loves the beer gardens at the end :)


So fun to have Jamie join us! Been years since we have ran together.. she loved it and we hope to do many more together... AND she had a killer time as well!!
